For the past few years, the French construction company, EIFFAGE, recognized in the Top-250 Global Contractors ranking (250 largest international construction contractors), has chosen ELKON as a supplier of concrete batching plant. Since 2015, the beginning of this successful cooperation, the group has purchased 6 concrete plants from ELKON, which demonstrates a solid partnership established between these two companies.

France imposes very strict standards in the construction sector, which consequently introduces high requirements when choosing equipment for construction. Demonstration of ELKON concrete plants excellent performance results in Eiffage’s projects in Togo, Congo & Ghana has become a solid foundation for future equipment orders for more important projects.

Thus, Eiffage has placed an order for its 6th ELKON Concrete Batching Plant for road works at the port of Lomé, capital of Togo.

As part of this project, ELKON will supply Elkomix-180 Stationary Concrete Batching Plant with production capacity up to 140 m3 of road concrete (heavy concrete) per hour. The configuration includes 6 bins of 30 m3 each and a T-type weighing system that reduces the weighing time and therefore reduces the time for the entire batch, which is essential for construction sites with large production capacities. Weighed material initially carried by the transfer conveyor into the holding hopper and then into the heart of the concrete plant - the 6750/4500l twin-shaft mixer designed specifically for the production of heavy concrete. The mixer is also equipped with a number of additional devices that facilitate its use: automatic high-pressure washing system for the mixer, interlock safety key system and hydraulic concrete sampling device to control of the quality of the mixture. 2 cement silos of 100 tons each with Eiffage logo that will be painted in the colors of the company.
