Ghana is set to get more than 9,000 housing units to help bridge the country's expanding housing gap and to reduce poverty and improve social indicators.
The Saglemi project is being undertaken by Construtora OAS Ghana Limited, a Brazilian construction firm for $200 million, and funded by Emerging Markets Fixed Income Division of the Credit Suisse, London. A total of 5,000 of the units will be built by Brazilian company Construtora OAS.
Construtora OAS which is a pioneer in the construction sector and places importance of the usage of innovative construction technologies has preferred ELKON to be able to supply required concrete for this project.
Elkomix-60 Quick Master compact concrete batching plant, which can produce 55 m³/h vibrated concrete with the 1500/1000 l. ELKON Twinshaft Mixer, has 4x15 m³ square type aggregate storage bin and equipped with 75 tons of Cement Silo.
