ELKON continuous mixing plant (stabilization / pugmill) has recently delivered to Jordan for project that includes construction, completion and remedying defects of approximately 52 km of Zarqa-Azraq-Omary Highway between Azraq city and the Saudi border crossing at Omary.
These works include construction of dual carriageway with 2 x 3.75 m travel lanes in each direction plus 3.0 m outer shoulders and 1.8 m inner shoulders, and a central median of 20.0 m wide.
The Jordanian company that uses ELKON Stabilization Plant and Elkomix-120 Stationary Concrete Batching Plant for other projects since 2014, decided to install new ELKON Stabilization Plant for Zarqa-Azraq-Omary Highway project. More than 1 Million tons of base course material will be produced by new ELKON Stabilization Plant.
ELKON Stabilization Plant has ELKON brand C200 Continuous mixer and can produce 300 TPH sub-base material. There are 4 aggregate storage bins, each has 20 m³ storage capacity and each is equipped with dosing belts with speed control which provides feed rates that are fully adjustable for the aggregate. It is possible to have a precise control over mixer design with specialized dosing system and automation system to adjust flow rates.
