After 5 years of outstanding performance with their ELKOMIX-60 QUICK MASTER Compact Concrete Batching Plant, a leading contracting company in Misurata, Libya, has once again chosen ELKON — this time with an order for the ELKOMIX-135 QUICK MASTER Compact Concrete Batching Plant for the Misurata Airport expansion project.
The plant is equipped with 4×20 m³ aggregate storage bins and 3 units of 150-ton cement silos, ensuring continuous production. Its ELKON RCC twin-shaft mixer (4500/3000 L) produces 3 m³ RCC concrete per batch. ELKON RCC twin-shaft mixers are specially designed by ELKON’s R&D engineers and include several modifications to ensure highly efficient and full capacity mixing of RCC.
Another airport in Libya is set for expansion with the installation of an ELKON concrete batching plant, equipped with ELKON’s high-performance RCC Twinshaft Mixer. This time, the project will take place at Benghazi Airport.
