New ELKOMIX-60 QUICK MASTER for Ready-Mix Concrete Production in Austria

ELKON has successfully installed a new ELKOMIX-60 QUICK MASTER concrete batching plant in Austria. The plant will be used for the production of ready-mix concrete, mainly for residential construction projects.

The supplied concrete plant was configured precisely according to the customer’s requirements and features a square-type 4-compartment aggregate bin, which is conveniently fed by ramp and wheel loader. Material transfer to the mixer is carried out via an efficient skip hoist system.

For cement storage, two 50-ton cement silos were installed. To ensure precise concrete production, a moisture probe was integrated into the sand compartment, continuously monitoring the aggregate moisture content and automatically adjusting the water dosage.

As the customer plans to operate concrete batching plant under winter conditions in the future, the concrete plant was additionally equipped with suitable winter operation components such as aggregate heating pipelines, steam nozzles and automatic insulation covers for the aggregate bunker. Furthermore, the customer has already been provided with the project planning for a future winterproof enclosure of the plant.
