One More ELKON Concrete Batching Plant For The World Giant Lafarge Holcim

Worldwide leading construction materials producers the French Lafarge and the Swiss Holcim, in 2015 have merged and created a new worldwide giant company of LafargeHolcim.

For their first readymix facility in Rwanda, the company has ordered ELKOMIX-120 Quick Master Plant from ELKON compact type series concrete batching plants, which are designed to be shipped easily and economically to overseas by standard containers.

In the concrete batching plant each aggregate compartment is equipped with 2 discharge gates which are operating separately to have high accuracy on aggregate weighing. And for the same reason very special additive weighing system which was developed in cooperation with the TUBITAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) is used in the plant. The high production capacities can be reached by using ELKON concrete batching plants along with high quality concrete production with the most precise weighing systems.

LafargeHolcim, was firstly acquainted with ELKON quality in 2011 by ordering a compact concrete batching plant of 50 m3/h production capacity for Kenya. Later in 2012 after being satisfied with high quality of the first batching plant and aftersales service, the company has bought 1 more ELKON concrete batching plant again for Kenya. This time they chose a higher capacity compact plant having 105 m3/h compacted concrete production capacity. The world giant ordered one more plant with the same capacity (105 m3/h) for Cameroon within the year 2012 again.

It can be seen that the continuous cooperation of both ELKON and LafargeHolcim companies will last for many years thanks to having the same company vision as loyalty to innovation concept. Besides LafargeHolcim, ELKON keeps being the indispensable choice of other sector leaders etc. such as Strabag, Eiffage, Royal Bam Group which never compromise on high quality,sustainability and high performance of their concrete batching plants.
