ELKON has been chosen once again as the best choice for the booming construction business in Australia. The deal is for a new giant mining project which was announced by the well-known mining company, BHP, in Pilbara region in Western Australia as a replacement for soon-to-be-decommissioned Yandi mine.

This project has the forecasted Budget of $4.7 billion and it is planned to become operational by 2021, running through until at least 2046. Commissioning of this mine is expected to create about 2,500 new jobs during construction and 600 ongoing operational jobs.

For this outstanding project, ELKON MOBILE MASTER-135 JAGUAR Mobile Concrete Batching Plant is chosen which is equipped with 4500/3000l Twinshaft mixer. Square type aggregate bunker with 4 compartments is suitable for storage of 4 type aggregates.

ELKON offered 2 units horizontal silo with 70 tons capacity due to special criteria of this project in which high mobility of the installed system was required. Automated aggregate feeding system also supplied in order to bypass the labor and time cost of building a ramp.
