ELKOMIX-135 QUICK MASTER New Generation Compact Concrete Batching Plant will supply concrete for an oil and gas project on Al Omairah Island, UAE.
The concrete plant is equipped with an ELKON 4500/3000 l Twin Shaft Mixer, with a production capacity of up to 120 m³/hour. As the batching plant will be installed in a harsh island environment, comprehensive corrosion-resistant measures have been applied to ensure long-term durability and reliable performance.
All weighing hoppers (aggregate, cement, additive, and water) are fully galvanized. Additionally, the aggregate storage bin panels, stairways, maintenance platforms, conveyor chassis and roller supports are completely galvanized, while all other components are protected with high-quality industrial coatings for enhanced resistance against aggressive environmental conditions.
The aggregate storage bins offer a minimum loading width of 3,500 mm and are designed to be fed by a wheel loader via a small ramp, making the system ideal for this project with limited installation space.
The batching plant is equipped with three 100-ton cement silos in addition to an ELKON Big Bag Cement Feeding System, as cement will be transported to the island in big bags.
