ELKON Supports the Development of Innovative, CO₂-neutral Building Materials with the Installation of an ELKON MIX MASTER-30

ELKON's presence in Germany continues to grow: with the installation of a new on-site concrete batching plant, the ELKON MIX MASTER-30, ELKON is supporting a company specializing in the research and development of CO₂-neutral and even CO₂-negative binders and building materials.

The customer company applies its innovative strength to projects that cover from development and approval to application and marketing of novel construction materials. In this context, the newly delivered plant will be used with a proprietary, cement-like binder developed in-house.

The supplied plant is designed for the efficient production of precast concrete elements. It is equipped with 4x5 m³ aggregate bins as well as a 30-ton cement silo and a second screw conveyor, which was provided at the customer’s request specifically for use in combination with mobile mini silos.

At the heart of the plant is the ELKON planetary mixer with a capacity of 750/500 liters, enabling highly precise and homogeneous concrete production. An integrated moisture probe ensures optimal dosing of water and guarantees consistent quality in every batch.

ELKON MIX MASTER-30 on-site concrete batching plant stands out with its compact design and high mobility. It can be installed in a very short time without the need for foundation works, while requiring only minimal space. Thanks to the fully automated control system, all materials are weighed and dosed with precision, ensuring efficient and reliable production.

With this installation, ELKON contributes to the advancement of forward-looking and sustainable construction materials while simultaneously strengthening its market presence in Germany.
