Reaffirming its leadership in the sector, ELKON once again plays a critical role in large-scale infrastructure projects that support the advancement of renewable energy. The well-established company Züblin Strabag will start the construction of a new wind farm, comprising 51 wind turbines, an operations and maintenance building, and various permanent and temporary supporting structures, in Chile’s Antofagasta Region during the first half of 2026.
To meet the concrete production demands of this significant project, the ELKON ELKOMIX-135 Quick Master New Generation Concrete Batching Plant has been selected. With a production capacity of 120 m³/h and a 3 m³ twin-shaft ELKON mixer, it is well-equipped to handle the scale of this project. Together with the new concrete plant, ELKON ELKOMIX-60 Quick Master Compact Concrete Batching Plant previously acquired by the same company for earlier projects will continue to operate, offering a production capacity of 50 m³/h. Both plants will be managed from a shared control cabin, ensuring streamlined and efficient operations on site.
Elkon, is always supporting regional development across all continents and geographies.
